Hearts ain’t velcros
Hearts ain’t velcros. They don’t stick together and then separate with the two parts perfectly unchanged.
If hearts were velcros, it would have been easy. No hurts, no scars, no walls built. Easy. Stick and go. As and when u like, whoever’s nearby.
I have seen many things go by, many people go by, nothing lasts.
What can we do about it? Do we still love? Do we still believe in love? Fears of getting hurt overpowers my ability to get into a relationship now. But it doesn’t mean never will it happen.
Time is what I need. Grace is what I desire. It’s all or nothing for me in a relationship.
It won’t be easy but at least, being a little religious helps. I know i have God with me till the end.
